This really resonated with me. What stood out wasn’t just the premise, but how the inner landscape shaped the reader’s experience of the outer one. That’s one of the reasons I’m so interested in psychological world-building. We often think worlds are built from settings, systems, or lore, but they’re just as much built through perception, belief, memory, and identity. This is a great opening chapter.
